We were again blessed with good weather today and Andy Muddiman and Val Singleton had a good day at the front end of the ropes. They rose at 0530 and after breakfast they headed up the ridge from Camp 2. They lead out 300 metres of rope and hopefully will do the same again tomorrow.

Chris and Ade came down from Camp 2 today and are back at Base Camp. Colin, Ben and Dick headed up to Camp 1 today and will move up to Intermediate tomorrow with Ian Venables. They will then all move forward and relieve Andy and Val at the front end the following day. Our 3 Sherpas will also go up to Intermediate Camp tomorrow to help work on the ridge.

We keep our fingers crossed that the weather will stay with us.
