We woke to another clear morning but with high winds at base camp and high cloud moving at great speed over the ridge. Today the team that left BC yesterday (Colin, Venn, Dick and Ben) moved up to the Intermeadiate Camp (to be joined later today by the Sherpas) and another team of 4 (Dave B, Dave T, Alec and Uisdean) left base camp for camp 1. This allows us to have people in place on the mountain to make the most of a forecast weather window on Monday and Tuesday when hopefully we can make the longed for progress to camp 2.
