The remainder of the teams landed in Kathmandu this afternoon without incident and can be seen here arriving at the Summit Hotel where they will finalise preparations prior to the Main Team flying to Tumlintar and the HADT flying to Lukla at the weekend.

As is the ritual at the Summit Hotel, all expeditions are invited to participate in a Puja ceremony to bestow good luck on their forthcoming challenges. The leaders of either team pictured above (Sqn Ldr Colin Scott - left and Surg Cdr Andrew Hughes - right) were the first to be garlanded and receive a gift of Raksi and some food.
